Versions

For workflow admins in the workflow editor page

Version management is a useful feature for the workflow admin to improve the design of the workflow over time while keeping memory of all previous versions.

Only 1 workflow version can be enabled at a given time for members to start runs.

 

To prevent members from starting new runs with a workflow, the workflow admin can simply disable all versions.

A workflow without an enabled version cannot be used to start runs.

 

To generate a new version for a workflow:

  1. From the workflow editor, verify that you are happy with the design you have created.
  2. Click Generate Version.
  3. Enter a description for the new version (optional).
  4. Enable the version using the toggle if you wish to make the new workflow version available.
